It is a privilege and joy to serve my home church (Calvary Baptist Church), BCBC, BGC National Women and the School of Women’s Ministries. Being a part of our conference has given me the opportunity to meet amazing people of God across Canada, we have a wonderful 'coast to coast' family working together. At home Trevor and I are being stretched and reworked by our youngest of 4, her goal is to teach us to be good parents. We have 4 grandchildren and are truly blessed. We will continue to work together, serving the Lord where ever He calls us.

I have spent many years working with children, in a variety of Church programs at my home church (Cedar Brook) and as a piano teacher. I have been blessed by the children I've taught, and by my fellow teachers. I am pleased to be able to provide support and to act as a point person to share best practices between our Conference Churches. Working together we can grow and accomplish more than we ever could on our own. I strongly believe that experience is the best teacher, but that someone else's experience is an even better way to learn!

Beginning in the fall of 2011, we should have in place a collection of best practices, names of ministries to seniors, meeting times, special activities, and proven strategies for success. Ben Potter, from Arrowsmith Baptist in Port Alberni, leads the ministry to seniors in his home church, and has become the point person and collector of resources for ministries to the 50+ group.
